National Floor Show will cover all areas of the market as
the only flooring event of the year, and as a result, the organisers are
pleased to welcome over 140 varied exhibitors including the recently signed
Sunway Blinds, Heuga, 3M, Laser Measure UK, Merryfield Engineering Group, The
Ultimate Rug Co and Valley Wholesale Carpets.
Laura Pearse of Sunway Blinds explained their decision to
exhibit at a flooring event: "National Floor Show is the ideal showcase to
promote to new retailers who are thinking of buying a 'me too' sales range,
such as blinds. We closely follow the trends for flooring as consumers often
buy blinds to match flooring and kitchen colours so it's an ideal exhibition
for us as we recently launched three new collection books."
Elsewhere at the show, the feature areas are filling up with
some inspiring new designs. Products shortlisted for the Top Ten Products
Showcase include a time and money saving floor-repairing solution from Dr
Schutz, high-quality wooden flooring from Kentwood and a brand new component
from Rotozip. Samples of these company's stunning new products can be viewed at
the entrance of the seminar theatre.
Over at the seminar theatre, two high-profile figures within
the flooring industry, John Roberts of JR Roberts Flooring and Kate Chappell of
Carpet Recycling UK, have recently announced their topics for this year. John
Roberts will explain internet issues surrounding the flooring industry and Kate
Chappell will speak on producer responsibility, public sector responses and
markets for end-of-life carpets. They will join speakers such as Jeff Banks and
Victoria Redshaw of Scarlet Opus for two days of educational seminars.
National Floor Show will feature some of the finest names
within the flooring industry, including Abingdon Flooring, Asiatic Carpets,
Ball & Young, Cormar Carpets, F Ball & Co, Karndean, Lano,
Mercado and Ulster Carpets. The event takes place at Harrogate
International Centre from 8-10 September 2009.
